Kate Miller

Kate, who joined STAR in 2014, received both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters in Science of Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Kate serves as a director on the development committee at the University of St. Francis in addition to serving on the board of directors for Erin's House for Grieving Children and for Kate’s Kart. Kate served as the board of director’s chair at the YWCA of Northeast Indiana prior to her term being completed. She is also a winner of Fort Wayne Business Weekly's Forty Under 40 award.

Matt Lewis, J.D.

Matt provides professional fiduciary services with an emphasis on the duties of a trustee and personal representative in the settlement of estates. As a practicing attorney for almost 20 years, Matt has gained insight and experience in the management of personal, family, and business issues. He holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H McKinney School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and of CICF’s Cornerstone Council.

Rachael Rice

Rachael is a Senior Trust Officer with STAR Wealth Management. Rachael joined STAR in 2022 after seven years of experience working for a community bank in Michigan where she managed a trust department. She will be assisting clients with their trust, estate and fiduciary needs.

She currently serves on the Michigan and American Bankers Associations in addition to volunteering with the St. Joseph County (Michigan) Chamber of Commerce.

Tim Annee

Tim brings 25 years of experience as STAR’s Investment Officer, where he provides STAR clients with effective and financially-sound planning strategies to help grow and protect their wealth.

He spent time at Regions Wealth Management, OneAmerica Financial Services, and LLH Wealth Management located in Southern Indiana as well as JP Morgan Investment Services and Union Federal Bank and German American Bank. He also played professional baseball in the Oakland Athletics system.

Tim graduated from the University of Indianapolis, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. He has earned his Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 financial securities certifications as well as insurance licenses in Life and Health and LTC (long-term care).

He serves in the community on the advisory board of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis as well as a football coach at Center Grove in Southern Indiana. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Baxter YMCA for four years.

Medina Habibic

Medina is an investment officer for STAR Bank working out of the company’s Fort Wayne headquarters. She joined STAR in 2017 as a branch manager for the bank’s Dupont Road location in Fort Wayne after previously working for a community bank in Michigan. As a fiduciary, she will work closely with the wealth management team providing portfolio management and investment research to help STAR clients grow and protect their wealth.

Medina, who completed the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana program in 2021, holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Davenport University in Michigan with a minor in Global Project Management. In addition, she has also earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis.

Terri Flanigan, CSOP

Terri is responsible for the daily operational functions for the department and trust clients. She is a Certified Securities Operations Professional and oversees the organization of the Operations area of STAR Wealth Management.

She joined STAR Wealth Management in July of 2003. Prior to joining STAR Wealth, she was a Securities Trader for Wells Fargo Trust & Investment. She also spent several years at Fort Wayne National Bank, serving as a Securities Trader and an Investment Associate.

A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Terri graduated from South Side High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from Ivy Tech College, Fort Wayne. Terri is currently a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers.

Jeff Coil

Jeff is a Senior Investment officer working out of STAR’s Fort Wayne headquarters. Jeff previously worked as a Senior Institutional Advisor for PNC. Before that, he spent time at Legal & General Investment Management, AEGON/Transamerica and CNO Financial Group. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University Fort Wayne. He also passed level 1 of the CFA, earned Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licensing and is a fellow of the Life Office Management Institute (FLMI). Jeff is from Fort Wayne and gives back through his nonprofit service, including having served on the finance committees of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne and a Mother’s Hope. He also served as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. He loves to give back to the community though volunteering as an instructor for Junior Achievement, Real Men Read, and Meals on Wheels. In his spare time, Jeff is a semi-pro pickleball player and travels the country playing in tournaments.
